The Power Of Visualization

One day I found an old diary and was reminded how powerful visualization can be. In the diary, which dates back to 1999, I wrote pictures of various things that I longed for and longed for. As I see my dream home: Soft hills with olive trees and the sea in the distance. I wrote: I want to see open, open sky. And what did I find? Yes, that!

The picture of the thoughts I had in this booklet is so close to what I see every day that it’s scary. But it wasn’t the only wish that had come true: I got a car, clothes, and even shoes that I wanted back then.

Living life your wonderful life more about seeing your dreams come true. Those of you who have seen The Secret will remember how one of the participants took out his vision board – a small cardboard box on which he displayed pictures of his dreams – and found that he had bought and lived in the house he owned. he showed a photo of the previous years in his group. The other day I received a letter from Norman Hallett from the Think and Grow Rich Blog, who talked about his wife Trisha and the picture he had on his vision board of his dream garden – and what it actually looks like. An interesting parallel.

Some people have the ability to see. They create a clear picture in their mind. Whether it’s creating a garden from the garden or turning an old basement into a sauna and a bathroom, they don’t need plans or plans, but can go ahead and just do it. Well, I better add – first they can see, visualize, that it can happen. These are often creative people who, in addition to having the ability to see how the world can be turned to gold, also easily see themselves achieving new goals – whether it’s settling into a happy relationship, writing a book or driving across the States on Route 66. They don’t need pictures to help them get to what they want in life. theirs.

But you and I can do it. You can find pictures in magazines and newspapers, but remember that you can also look online for example on Yahoo pictures and download the picture to your computer by clicking here. Then you can print them or save them in a special folder for viewing on your computer. If you know how to use Photoshop or other photo editing software you can edit photos as well. Have you found your dream home, but don’t like the color? Write it down! Not happy with the garden? Add an old apple tree and wonderful flowers.

Whether you’re in a relationship or not, you may want to add a photo of a happy couple. Or you and the man in your life in your most exciting time. Do you want to travel more with your husband? Find a picture of a man and a woman carrying a suitcase together. Add photos of hotels you’d like to stay at, a French restaurant where you’ll have breakfast or a museum you’ve been dying to visit.

There may be a charity you’d like to work for or a good cause you’d like to get involved with, whether it’s beating breast cancer or fighting pollution. Add a picture of a pink bow and a healthy green forest – whatever that represents.

And don’t forget the words! There may be short words that interest you, such as “joie de vivre” or “good life”. Or it could be a poem that creates a certain feeling of happiness in you or the lyrics of a song. Anything, that helps you see, create, picture in your head or feel in your heart about what you want.

Don’t forget pictures of inspiring people! Most of us have problems that prevent us from achieving our dreams. You may want to take a sabbatical to travel around the world, but think that someone “like you” can’t do such a thing. Find a photo, or several, of people “just like you” who have done the same thing – I’m sure you’ll find one! Or you are 40 years old and want to go back to school, you feel too old. Well, you’re not the first person to get an education at that age, so find a picture of a man or woman who achieved that dream – and it reminds you that you can do it, too. One of my favorite clips is a magazine interview with a British woman who moved to Egypt to become a professional belly dancer. I don’t have dreams of becoming a belly dancer or moving to Egypt, but I think this story is very inspiring. It shows that you can do anything. And then I mean everything.

Now, what to do with all those pictures? It’s up to you. You may want to create a vision board, as described above. Or hang it on the wall or wrap it and store it somewhere you can easily remove it, look at it, dream and add new pictures. Or you may prefer a scrapbook or photo gallery. You may want to divide the images into several categories: Work and work, love and family, fun, travel and leisure. You can view everything and use it on your computer. The main thing is that you can easily find a watch book, whiteboard or file and spend time with it.

Finally, some dreams end. You change and live your wonderful life it does not mean wanting the things of life as before. And that’s fine! Find the most accurate image and trace it over the old one. And keep seeing it coming your way!
