Feminine Courage – My Invisible Ally

My personal experience is similar to that of other women who experience acne and breakouts. However, I feel that my invisible friend who can fail women has guided me. From a young age, I realized the importance of courage. When faced with challenges in life, I realized that I can always count on courage to help me change my life every time. I have had the courage to overcome illness, reveal insecurities, overcome obstacles and overcome abuse.

I first discovered my courage when I was five years old. A common chicken threatened my life. My parents rushed me to the hospital where I was unconscious for almost a week. I was so sick the doctors told my parents that I might not live anymore. The experience left me not only with physical scars but also with the profound realization that if I can overcome chronic illness, I can overcome almost anything. This knowledge, which I now know was a great reservoir of courage, continued to strengthen and sustain me in many areas of my life.

Another important event happened when I was in my twenties. As a Catholic, I was taught to abstain from sex before marriage. However, I got pregnant out of wedlock. The womb was lonely and scary. For three months, I endured morning sickness that lasted all day, and dry patches forced me to defecate in street drains while attending college classes. In honor of my faith, I felt compelled to go to confession and free myself from what I saw as sin (at the time). Movies of women dying in childbirth came to my mind when I was young, and I feared that I might die before I could be forgiven for my wrongdoing. Confused and confused, I didn’t know where to turn. But after looking more closely, I was able to overcome my shyness and face the priest.

When I entered the penance room with tears of shame, I told the priest about my problem. Surprisingly, he told me, “God has forgiven you, but you have not forgiven yourself.” At that moment I was filled with great relief and comfort. I realized that I had the power to choose. I didn’t want to marry someone I didn’t love, and I didn’t want to have an abortion. So, feeling great pain and suffering inside, I decided to give my child up for adoption. Nothing compares to going home from the hospital empty-handed.

My experience with the priest was a great blessing. From that experience, my “will to be brave” became a reality for me, and my realization of the power of courage gave me a tool that I have used throughout my life.

A few years later, when I was older, I followed the man I was to marry from California to Colorado, where he started a new business. While a big move can be a difficult transition for anyone, this transition was especially difficult due to a painful breakup immediately after the move.

I was angry, disappointed, and completely discouraged, I had to face the unknown. I was very afraid of the instability of my life, and there I was in a city where I had no friends, family or work. My biggest fear was that I would not survive. If I were to survive, how would I cope with those conditions?

I felt vulnerable, weak and abandoned. Many times, when I went to visit my family on vacation, I often prayed that the plane would crash. When I die, my distraught soul will no longer feel pain. I wouldn’t have to reinvent myself.

However, during prayer and meditation, I hear an inner voice that gives hope: If you can overcome this problem, a great intelligence and a special gift will be revealed.

This problem also made me realize my courage as the strength that I needed to continue. With courage, a devastating experience can be redeemed as a source of new awareness, clarity and purpose. This change convinced me that God put me on this earth to strengthen the brave spirit inside me, and to encourage other women to do the same.

Passionate Life

When I was growing up, I had a passion for self-discovery. Looking at how I went through the usual changes in my life, I realized that my courage – it helped me a lot. I changed jobs pretty much every six or eight years, and each business I entered was very different from the last. However, as I moved through the fields of education, real estate, banking and business consulting, I was able to easily transfer my skills from one area of the business to another.

When asked how I could easily navigate this career transition, I replied that the results I wanted were easy for me to envision and achieve as long as I followed my heart’s desire and courage. In every company I was inspired by the joy of working alone. Creativity, an important part of my personality, has been linked to my courage to “create” my professional and personal life.

Helping others is a goal in my life, whether as a friend, mentor, speaker, teacher or writer. A fascination with the richness of life and a deep commitment to the highest human values have been the threads through which I have woven my life’s experiences. I approach all aspects of my life with passion. I challenge myself more than I am, pushing myself to excel in sports, travel, relationships, writing and speaking.

For a long time I did not know that this way of life was unusual. Living a fulfilling life seemed natural, natural. But I know now that it is not so. Living with verve is a skill to develop. With courage as my strength, I have been able to create meaningful goals for my life. And doing so has helped me to take my heart and soul.

Writing has never been one of my passions. I’m a public speaker and I like to express myself verbally, so writing and researching a book that awakens women to strong female values has been one of my two brave practices. The other was giving my son up for adoption. Thanks to the good and caring priest who helped me, I had the courage to keep going forward. I also knew that nothing could be as difficult as this difficult experience.

At five years old, a young adult and an old woman, I used my courage to start over. As I continued to gain the courage I gained during those difficult times, courage became my precious companion during ordinary life.
