Movie Review: Behind Enemy Lines (2001) Owen Wilson – Gene Hackman

Here are my thoughts on the old Behind Enemy Lines title with Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman.

Plot: The film revolves around Wilson’s character as a Navy Fighter Pilot. On a routine mission, he and his co-pilot spotted something on the radar and went to check it out. The “thing” they’re looking for ends up shooting them and sets up Wilson’s character to run through most of the movie. Through trials, tribulations, and a few officers who return to the base, our hero (humans) manage to make a movie that is Good for me to watch and I enjoyed it.

Rating: Give me 4/5. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time and never tired. Any bathroom break would be a movie break for sure.

Review: I really liked this movie. I didn’t think I would want it as close as I did because I knew it was an Action/Drama and you had a very funny Comedy character, actor Owen Wilson. Don’t think they can pull this off, I went into this movie not so open minded but from the first 15 minutes of the movie, you are hooked from then on. I now have a new respect for Owen Wilson as a player.

Language/Content: The language wasn’t bad at all. There are a few gore scenes (guns, shooting, fighting, etc.) that I wouldn’t recommend for anyone under 10 but parent wise, I’d say this is a great family movie.
