My Ammonia Pistol Was Only the Beginning
When I was a teenager I started hanging out with my girlfriends in big places, movie theaters, etc.
Back then, I didn’t know about peppers. I was naive and my parents protected me. In the 70’s there were no computers or internet, where you could play and find things to protect yourself. I don’t remember who was the expert who mentioned it first or had the idea, but somehow the idea came to use a water gun and fill it with ammonia! Well, that was the best thing I ever heard! What a great idea!
Without delay, I went to a toy store and bought an orange juice gun. My mother always had ammonia to clean the bathrooms, so I poured some into the water gun. I made sure it wouldn’t fall out and put it in my favorite bag. I checked a few hours later to see if the bag smelled like ammonia, and luckily it didn’t.
Well, that was the beginning of my interest in self-defense products! Now that I think about that big idea, it was actually a lot scarier than we thought. We don’t know how much damage ammonia can cause if you get it in your eyes. It can always be destructive! I’m glad none of us used our ammonia gun, or we would have been hit with a big charge!
Later, as a working adult, I had to use the subway to get to and from work. I felt that I needed to buy something reliable and safe. During this time there was the internet and I bought my first Stun Gun from the internet. I immediately felt safe, especially in the winter months around 6 o’clock in the afternoon, when I got off the train and walked to my car, which was parked in a large parking lot, around the train station. I lived in the countryside, so I had to drive from the station to my house and the trips to my car were very dangerous at night. My stun gun went everywhere I went and I loved that I could walk my dog down the streets to the nearest park without worrying about being attacked.
Last year, I heard that there was another great product on the market and it was made by women. Wanting to get the latest and greatest out there, when it comes to self defense, I purchased what for me, has become a self defense tool; and Taser C2. This child is perfect. I can shock an attacker with electricity up to 15 miles away! This taser is small, has an LED light to see in the dark and a laser so I don’t miss a shot. It also doubles as a stun gun, if I can shake someone and have someone come to me. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could have a self-defense device like a Taser C2. The good thing about it too, is that the Taser C2 doesn’t kill and doesn’t cause permanent damage, unlike my first weapon, the Ammonia Pistol!
