How were sea horses discovered? Could it be that the horses that were on land, threatened by people and seeking freedom, fled to the sea?

I Sea Horses is a magical look at how sea horses start. With beautiful, captivating, dreamlike images, this is an imaginative, heartwarming story that will delight young and old alike.

Led by the young rabbit Pegasus, and aided by a magic star, the cows go under the sea to find peace, freedom and happiness. In the beginning, however, Pegasus faces a lot of opposition from the bulls, why can a horse, a creature without a nose, live under the sea?

But Pegasus “told them his dream of things to come / When the world would change and he could no longer run / He did not know when or why / But he felt that he must turn to the sea or the sky.”

The story is written in fun verse, but the language is straightforward, making it easy for a young child to understand. The language also has a calming, soothing quality while stimulating the child’s emotions at the same time.

At the end of the book is a section about Project Sea Horse and how people can help the survival of these strange, fascinating, and fragile creatures. Children can interact with the project’s website and even buy a precious toy, named in the story.
