$100,000 a month! What are the 5 things I need to do?
1. Questions Match Core Values. Ask yourself, does this business opportunity I am currently involved in or considering, agree with my core values. So in simpler terms, “Do you believe in this opportunity and its products/services so deeply that you would sign up your own mother without hesitation?” If your answer is a clear “No”, then what you are looking at is not a match with your core values and you should continue to do your due diligence on your next opportunity.
2. Does your business opportunity have a large market sector? Whatever your product/service you are marketing needs to have a large enough audience to sell. You are better off joining a marketing company where 100% of people use your product or service every day as opposed to 75% of people who don’t use it at all. Get the picture?
3. Spend 2 hours every day on building professional relationships. Mark Yarnell doesn’t care what time of day or evening you do it, but you have to take 2 hours of focus every day and talk to your leads. Remember in this industry you make money by selling products/services and recruiting your team. Just work Monday – Friday, weekends.
4. Decide whether you will earn $100,000 with the 1, 2 or 3 year plan. Here is the formula
o Plan 1 year (talk to 30 people a day, Monday to Friday for 20 days a month)
o 2 year plan (talk to 20 people a day, Monday to Friday for 20 days a month)
o 3 year plan (talk to 10 people a day, Monday to Friday for 20 days a month)
How on earth can I talk to 30 people a day? If you market your business effectively, then you shouldn’t have a problem generating 30 leads a day. If you’re not getting 30 leads a day, subscribe below and let me introduce you to the marketing method that allows me to have more leads than I can handle. You don’t have 30 minute conversations with every prospect. Spend a few minutes just driving people to information. If you talked to 10 people but left voicemails for the other 20, well you talked to 30 of your prospects for the day.
5. Recognize & Avoid the Top 10 Landmines That Explode One’s MLM Career
o Don’t let other people compare their company to yours – these people are vampires and will drain your energy.
o Don’t join multiple marketing companies for multiple streams of income. Focus on 1 company only.
o Multitasking bombs. Focus on one thing. You can’t multi focus
o Bomb Banker. Don’t lend people money for their startup kits.
o Bomb expert product – the more technically oriented you become about your products and services the more you will disturb people about your company. Don’t be an expert
o Friends and family bomb – not a market to exploit. They will join when you start making big money. Don’t run them away.
o Network meeting bomb – meeting where you pitch your deal for 30 seconds. Other networks are only there to push their own deals
o Dabble bomb – You are looking for people with enough IQ who really want to hit the ground running and go to work. Don’t waste your time on a part timer (eg work only 2 hours a week and want to make $100,000 a month.
o Dump bombs – don’t dump all your information on your prospect the first time you talk to them. Just give them enough to get excited.
o Short Cut bomb – no short cuts, this is hard work but worth it. Remember that full-time focused work is still 2 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
