Why The Bible Leaves More Questions Than Answers

I was born into an old Bible belt religion and grew up believing in Jesus. However, I found that it always helped me feel worthless and hurt, even guilty. I strongly agree with the article written by one of your members where a 26 year old minister still has more questions than answers.

I found what I call the secret to understanding the Bible, the parable of Jesus. I can’t go into all my findings here due to lack of space but I will reveal how I got them. After much reading and meditation I began to see a big difference between the Old Testament and the first 4 Books of the New Testament. I have found no contradiction in the Old Testament or from the Book of Acts to revelation.

What I have found is that if you really want to break down the articles and the people who read them give them 4 types of one thing in their studies. We don’t find maths, English or any other subject being taught in four ways time and place.

In these 4 books you can find the birth, life and teachings of Jesus. Although the Old Testament was difficult to read about all the wars and destruction, it was really clear about who Jehovah claimed to have and what he wanted.

But in the New Testament the war and the threat left as a new way began with the loving, compassionate and forgiving Jesus. But in the Book of Acts after Jesus left, the reader finds the disciples doing what Jehovah and his prophets did. Power equals knowledge that is still being played today. The Old is written clearly in the Bible from the New. however, we have missed the message of Jesus because in Matt., Mark, Luke and John the words of Jehovah have been put in the mouth of Jesus.

So we have a loving Jesus who spits out words of hate and judgment. For me, I chose the main teacher that I felt was Jesus. It was love. I learned these words and gave them meaning and applied them to everything Jesus had to say and do. In it I found a mixture of the old and the new as Jesus warned people.

The greatest deception is nowhere to be found than what people have been taught to believe about this loving man. A man of love became a man of war when terrible wars were instituted that killed innocent people because of a belief different from the modern, accepted religion.

Even the fact that Jesus refused to judge anyone for anything was changed until they taught that he would come again to judge everyone. A complete reversal of the truth.
