Percy Ross the author of the above book started life as a pauper but through hard work he became a millionaire and philanthropist, giving away all his money before he died, soon. He wrote the above book when he was 70 years old. He was known for giving silver dollars as a symbol of hope to poor children and he had a part in the newspaper called “Thanks a Million”, which helped countless people with their requests.

His parents were Jewish immigrants, his father was a businessman, and he only saved enough money to feed his children. At the age of 7, Percy was taught to sell eggs to neighbors to help put food on the table. The lessons he learned that helped him throughout his life, he created ten rules for success and the right ways to apply for what you want.

As a child he wanted a bike like other boys, but his father couldn’t afford it, so he got him a very old bike but Percy was happy with it. Bicycles donated to underprivileged children. By 1977 they had given away 100 new bicycles but in 1971 they held a Christmas party for underprivileged children and gave away over a thousand shiny new bicycles.

Percy attributed his success to learning from his father the right way to ask for what he needed. This book talks about his ten lessons for success.
