Four Poems – Two Odes, a Dramatic Poem and One Elegy – Cancer, Mother, Man and War

Ode to Cancer

I felt cancer

in his bones

in his bones.

I know

that

it will not stop; believe me,

pain

reeks,

cancer strikes, and stalks

in his bones

it comes out

through his body, crushed

and pain.

He cries deeply about that

minutes

when he hears

legs

about

breast cancer,

in its dangerous places,

deep down

in his bones.

Here at his house

everything

cancer phantom

speaks:

he is a

breathing

words

a song of destruction

and sorrow.

Very little

cancer wave

it brings waves of pain to him

not just the whiteness of his bones

but down inside it

inexhaustible

once a bright light.

Now the phantom of cancer

you have found a way

like rivers to the sea

his whole body:

so, very small,

piece, and every wave

He has infected him

infinite…!

Ode to Mother

My mother brought me

this single life

which he wove himself

and the help of Christ.

He wove

and thread a

about butterflies

so,

outside of

cotton and wool

and raw materials

materials;

and alpaca

he weaved

two very soft arms

like rabbit’s feet –

and them

he cut

in two

wings –

that when I

he arrived

feet first

this

the wings of heaven

(feet and arms

and all these things)

he was

very beautiful

I, I heard that

not qualified.

However

sharp test

to fly

it was in my eyes,

so I kept this

wings

like school children

to save

worms and bees,

grasshoppers

and more

sacred things

until I was old,

put it in

golden circle

intestines

and traveled the world.

I tried to deny it

crazy influence

turn it off

as retired researchers

in the forest

and deserts

I have read the same

many old books

(Now he is sitting on the wood

shelves…)-

but I couldn’t

Stop

walking or reading,

I just laid them out

like leaves

in those old books

they are still living on it

old wooden shelves.

Good manners

of this ode is this:

mother said

twice the beauty

when they knit.

The Fish of Man

(interesting poem)

“What are they waiting for?” He asked me.

“For a while, just for a while,” I replied.

“I studied him like a lobster,” he cried,

“Until I grew algae in my eyes!”

And I answered, “I know this,” and added,

“I’ll tell you, they’re waiting for time.”

“He is like a thread in the water

deep sea!” he complained.

And I answered, “The depth of a person is that.”

deeper than sand, and if you look deep

you will find, he is full of light, man

eyes, but dead in darkness, if given

trouble, or sigh in vain!”

And he asked, “I don’t understand,

How can it be, I have been unhappy?”

And I answered once more, “In your net.”

one night, like a caught fish;

you caught him, of your own accord,

and I thought you could change him.”

Soulless:

Elegy for an American Soldier

At War

The heart became pure and

patriotism, darkness and anxiety

because of the war: but he arose from it.

“Death be mine

freedom,” he cried

the white clouds grew gray

and blood and disease

and dust and dirt in an

in the evening under the small ones

Firearms, and rockets:

a slaughterhouse for rotten people

meat, and guts are here

and there, everywhere;

the dreaded day of freedom.

A white dove in the morning

brought forgiveness to a

to be, who killed.

very dark were the religious leaders, and

the sound of the trumpets, and wet

the black flag is blood red.

Here and there, and everywhere,

the soldiers are smoking very depressed,

all their days of goodness, and

respect, respect, and respect

now in the dark halls of sight

gray moons, and stormy nights

in their minds: there is somewhere,

and the steep ladder that must now be climbed:

where is the heart, for the heartless

to our cold winter leaders, softly

linen beds, Washington?
