The Nicholas brothers were also famous dancers. They first came to prominence as featured dancers at Harlem’s famous Cotton Club. They were so popular, that they were the only practice allowed to associate with holy friends. After leaving the band, the brothers appeared in movies and TV shows.

Answer. At one time the answer to that question would have been yes. But dancers like Fred Astaire and Gene Kelley proved that the art of dancing was not limited to one race. Astaire and Kelley were well known for their dancing skills, which included tap.
