How I Lost 20 Pounds in 3 Months Using an Infrared Sauna
Let me get one thing straight from the start. Infrared saunas are not the only tool to help you lose weight. In other words don’t expect to see these kinds of results by sitting on your sofa all day after your sauna session.
The fact remains that exercise and diet play a big role in weight loss and that said an infrared sauna is a wonderful tool to help accelerate weight loss results.
Let me explain what I mean. When in an infrared sauna the infrared technology heats your body. Once your body starts to heat up you start to sweat. As your body heats up it starts to work harder to cool down.
As your body works harder it burns more energy. As you know food is energy. To put it in terms of weight loss, you need to burn more energy than you take in. An infrared sauna is an additional tool that can help you accomplish this along with diet and exercise.
There are also additional health benefits such as improved blood circulation that helps improve your skin and in addition heals the body. It can also help with expelling toxins and this helps your body to function better leaving less deposits and as a result accumulate less fat.
My simple daily regimen was exercise in the morning. I would eat fruit first thing before anything else. I would also drink wheatgrass. I replace sugar with honey and generally drink more water and cut out soda completely.
During the day I would snack on nuts and fresh cut vegetables. I would eat whole grain sprouted bread and avoid white flour. In the evening I would eat good carbs from sweet potatoes and yams and fresh cooked vegetables.
I would never eat right before going to bed.
Then finally I would relax for twenty to thirty minutes in an infrared sauna with chamomile tea and after words have a nice warm shower.
In conclusion this helped me sleep great, loose weight and in addition look great.
