I don’t like to look at exercise as a form of punishment or purging for overeating.

Here are 2 ways to solve it better:

1) If this happens once a month, it is not a big problem. Just go about your normal life and stick to your regular work pattern.

2) If this happens once a week, or several times a week, it is a nutritional problem that needs to be addressed, and excessive exercise is not the answer .

Build your body, don’t touch it.

Q #2: What is the best training time for fat loss?

Answer:

No shortcut has been found to be the best for fat loss… but of course time has been found to be better than regular cardio for rapid fat loss.

So spending more time on fat loss is like spending more reps on muscle. That’s what I like.

That way, you train your muscle metabolism in three different ways and put your body in the ultimate fat burning turbulence. This ensures that you will keep your metabolism high, while you burn more calories – and both carbs and fat – during the workout and after the workout. So forget about the HR myths about obesity. Q #3: Craig, I started on your weight loss program several weeks ago (I’ll finish four weeks this week and then I’m planning to switch to exercise high fat for 4 weeks).

In the last 14 months I have lost 85 pounds. With the weight loss period I started walking almost every day and increased my body weight and did some hill running in addition to walking. Have worked with dumbbells off and on. Did some good work. I need to gain another 20-30 pounds. All this is background.

Sounds like everything is fine. Fortunately, these fat burning exercises are designed to give you more recovery than the usual 5-day-a-week bodypart workouts. Use the rest of the day to recover (walk the dog, run errands, etc.).
