Uric Acid In Blood: Causes And Troubles

What is uric acid?

How does hyper-uricemia occur?
Hyper-uricemia can be caused by one or more of the following reasons:

3) Eating too much meat (mutton, beef) or seafood.
4) Eat foods that contain fructose. Sugar contains about 50% fructose.

7) Drink a lot of alcohol, especially beer.

13) During excessive physical activity or exercise, there is an increased production of lactic acid in the body. During that time, there may be a temporary increase in uric acid in the blood.
14) Type 2 diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, obesity, insulin-resistant disease syndrome ‘x’ – in all of these, the level of acid is high.
Problems caused by the level of uric acid in the blood

Gout is caused by an increase in uric acid levels in the blood caused by disturbances in the body’s purine or protein metabolism. Uric acid does not dissolve well in our blood. So, an excess of it in the blood is left in our joints in the form of monosodium urate crystals and causes pain. Gout is a serious disease of the joints, which usually occurs in the elderly. Men are 5-7 times more susceptible to this disease than women.
The problem starts when the amount of uric acid in the blood crosses its normal range of 2-7mg/100ml. It can be seen that the symptoms of gout arthritis begin to show if this level in women exceeds 3.5-5mg / 100ml and in men 5-7mg / 100ml. Again, if the gout is severe, the level will be 20mg/100ml or more.
Uric acid stones in the kidney
When there is a high level of uric acid in the blood, the excess after saturation, which does not dissolve in the blood, starts depositing in the kidney, since 75% of the acid is out of the body from the kidney.
