After about 7 years in our marriage, my husband started to feel like there was more, we should do in life. We were comfortable, had a nice house and just floated in life. Like a week or 2 later told me that he thought there was more for us to do he just wasn’t sure. He received a notice that his job was gone and he had about 2 weeks to find something else. I’m scared because I don’t like the unknown but I know that I can pick up more hospitals if needed. My husband is very talented and he found a new job within a week of being laid off. But this change required moving to a new state, and I had to start working full-time to make up for the loss of income. We lived in a small car with 2 of our children for 4 months while we relocated and worked out all the logistics of finding a home. And because of the move I had to leave my eldest son who was 13 at the time. He chose to stay in Utah and live with his father instead of going with us. Life got harder and harder for us when we lived in Las Vegas, at least for me they did. At the time I just couldn’t understand why our lives had to change so much for the worse. Working in Las Vegas as an ICU Nurse was difficult and stressful for me. I would go 3-4 days a week without seeing my family, because I work long hours. I remember feeling sad and angry that our lives had come to this. We are not living, we are already alive. After 2 years of this difficult life we ​​got the word that my husband has to send for a year. By this time I was very tired and worn out and the next deployment was too much so we started planning for me to move to Utah to live with my mother and she will help me raise the boys when my husband is gone go. My husband has been applying to be with the Army full time for 7 years and it always goes through, but every year he puts effort into his application, hoping it will come through. Well before his Department was to deploy, he received word that he had been picked up full time and we would be moving to North Carolina within months. My husband does not send and I can leave my job immediately. Those 2 years in Las Vegas were difficult but as the Law of Polarity says, as difficult things are equal or more fortunate. We were able to learn many life lessons during our 2 years in Las Vegas that helped us a lot and prepared us for other experiences we had. I did not know at the time all the things that I was preparing for and I did not understand why life was so difficult. I am always on the move and am very blessed now to be able to stay at home and raise my children. We also had the opportunity to move and live in some fun places like New York and Hawaii. I’m always grateful for the hard times because I know there’s an upswing and there’s something from the hard times that can always be good. The faster I remember this the easier it is to avoid bad moments.
